Top one looks like it wants to be brighter. Oh, I mean the photo does. That is, I imagine that the top painting is brighter than this image of it. But maybe I am wrong.
Anyway, it is quite exciting in its mishmashness, a kind of quietly irritating clash of soft gentle with pointy sharp.
I double checked, and it might be slightly washed out, but the top one is a strangely pale painting. Also, the canvas varies in these paintings more than one might think the lighting conditions do. So #s 1, 3&4 are on a darker cloth.
